When seasons change, switching from light, airy fabrics to warm, comfortable winter clothing can feel challenging.
How difficult this is depends on where you live and how much warmth your clothes need to provide.
Right now, I’m living in the Czech Republic, so my winter clothing needs to be very warm since we get snow here.

Soft Summer has the dimmest colors of all the Summer color types.
These colors are made by taking cool, gentle summer shades and adding a layer of black or dark gray over them. This makes the colors look muted and shadowy.
Soft summer is the color type that uses a lot of greyed out shades, where grey is the “king” shade.

I went through shopping platforms such as Uniqlo, Arket, Goelia, Nordstrom, and Lilysilk, etc., and selected colors for the Soft Summer type.
I really rarely see ladies wearing light blue, unless it’s the jeans. Light blue is a basic color for me; it is a part of my daily capsule wardrobe.
Since I chose pieces that I would wear myself for the capsule wardrobe, I include blue as a basic.
A lot of people don’t know how to jump off of their black and grey outfit routine – the safest option try the light blue gamma – it just might surprise you.
I chose this beautiful sky blue cardigan as a versatile option for winter that will go well with dark blue or navy blue jeans.

If you are looking for the perfect blue for your type, that is a top-notch shade.
Pantone decided it’s a gray blue, but it’s clearly a dim purple-blue shade.
It’s quite intense, yet very calming in nature, and it will fit very well with contrasting makeup and other deeply shaded colors, such as this dark blue Etsy bag.
I found the perfect eyeshadow color palette from Dior for everyday and more intense shading, as well as for creating contrast.
A very unusual greyed ot blue shade, a perfect choice for the soft summer type.

A light but bright blue-turquoise shade – a great choice if you want to brighten some color and liveliness to your complexion.

Dark Sapphire – the deep navy blue is a great substitute for black if you cannot wear it. Soft Summer generally has a very delicate appearance.
It’s still quite dark and intense in color to use near your face, I’d definitely use something like silver chains, pink or white pearls, or a lighter silk scarf if you are not completely comfortable with the depth of the color.
However, it’s a great color to have, and it matches well with white, grey, beige, blue, dark blue, and even black, even when it comes to bags and shoes.
It’s a relaxed fit not only for summer, but also for winter.
Especially if you have winters like in Greece or Portugal, you might still use a set like this here and there.
Flint Gray – a lovely version of beige and gray together. It’s very easy to match with other, much darker accessories or even more contrasting ones like black and white.
