Changing your wardrobe from light and breezy fabrics to winter’s warm and cozy ones can be difficult as the seasons shift (also depends on where you live and how warm your clothes need to be).
I am in the Czech Republic this time around, so my winter clothes must be really warm because it snows here.
To facilitate your choice I went through the shopping platforms Nordstrom, Arket, and Uniqlo and chose as per this color palette.

Bags to consider
I am going to start with the basics here (for me at least) – it’s a Uniqlo Heattech turtleneck in the color of a morning mist – a soft pastel turquoise.

If you are in a cold country, pay attention to the Heattech wardrobe, as it will cover you until around 20 degrees Celsius.
I love this color – it’s not overused and it’s going to refresh your face because it is on the light side of the spectrum.
I’d like to match it with dark grey almost asphalt grey colored wide-leg pants, but you could also use it with the basics that you already have.
Ove more long sleeve in a dim light blue color, also a heattech item can go with light colored bottoms like these warm pants.
One more beautiful warm sweater will go really well in combination with the simple pitch-black bottom, as long as the darker color of the set is in the bottom.
I like how it goes well with the sun skirt and woolen grey socks. That’s a great stylistic choice if you want to try something new instead of your usual pants.
I really like how this Tory Burch velour bag compliments the winter outfit – as velour is quite a heavy-looking material, but for winter it’s just perfect.
It’s very complimentary, especially in this color for the soft summer type.
This very light pastel-colored outfit – not for a rainy day, but look how it enhances the whole appearance.
The sweater has a soft snowflake-like feel with loose white wool pants – it doesn’t make you feel like winter is a difficult season to wear with. It refreshes the face frame and sits well with the soft summer appearance.
One more dusty blue heattech sweater in a perfect soft summer ashy undertone matches really well with the dark navy blue. It doesn’t necessarily need to be pants, you can wear your favorite jeans.
I love this Arket sweater that is made of wool and alpaca. Look at this divine blue color, it’s not bright, but still refreshing. Winter can be difficult to handle, I think you need something basic but still exhilarating.
If you haven’t taken into consideration adding light blue color to your wardrobe as basic – it’s high time to try that out, especially when it’s a part of your color palette.
Look how well it blends with the rest of the bottoms that we already have here as a part of the capsule wardrobe. It goes well with grey, dark blue, white, and even teal blue.
Another alpaca blend sweater from Areket – a basic light grey loose-fitted sweater would be really nice with dark bottoms like black . I like this particular combination of a sun skirt and matching grey woolen socks.
Alternatively, I’d use suit-like woolen pants also in darker grey (darker than the top) and would match it up with black accessories like a bag and shoes.
One of my favorite outfits in this selection is a light blue cardigan in a smart-casual style that will go well with flared jeans for example. And probably I’d wear a heattech black long sleeve to keep it warm.
I really liked this Chanel-like oversized cardigan from Nordstrom and the way it matched with the black color is superb.
You can wear total black basics like a heattech long sleeve and a skirt or pants and wear the cardigan on top – is a magnificent match for a soft summer.
A rather elegant styled sweater with front lines will match really well with the front arrow pants – making it a very classy outfit. It’s a beautiful combination of color of dusty blue and teal blue.
I loved this lilac purple colored sweater which is so easy to match with the rest of the bottoms that you have.
This color is mesmerizing and it’s just perfect for the soft summer color palette.
Another beautiful Ralph Lauren cardigan combination – look how well it creates a monochromatic look – a lighter grey on top near the face in order to refresh your face and darker at the bottom.
Very interesting choices from Ralph Lauren again – a cardigan fleece jacket and a navy blue oversized sweater with a winter theme.
All go well with the relaxed type of pants from Uniqlo and a heattech longsleeve.
A marvelous Sandro navy blue cardigan will go well with classy bottoms as well as with regular jeans.
Let’s not forget about skirts and dresses. I found a very beautiful navy blue knitted set of a cardigan and a body-fitting skirt.
Occasionally you will still wear something more feminine even if it’s winter.
A long knitted dress in a magnificent color of a nightshadow blue.
It’s a perfect dusty color for the soft summer type. This dress doesn’t require elegant shoes as it’s a rather relaxed fit, so it would go really well with for example white trainers or suede loafers.
A matching wool outerwear – a dark grey colored coat with a rather elegant suit pants with a heattech turtleneck – perfect everyday workwear.
Or for example a faux fur dark grey coat for a deeper winter.
And one of my favorite colors for the outerwear – is this light grey with the light grey scarf – which is still basics, but on the light side, which will always enhance your appearance.
Also, a dark taupe grey colored loungewear set for rather a relaxed indoor activity with these loose wide-leg pants and a matching top.
