The fall season does come with a free pass for romantic individuals to wear as many dresses as humanly possible, quite literally unabashedly, right?

The long length adorned with floral prints, romantic colors, sweet necklines, and lush (faux) fur shawl is a combination that will forever remain an autumn iconic for your romantic body type.

However, that can’t be all, right? It’s not!

Indulge in luxury because fall does come with the added benefit of draping yourself in affluent, warm fabric choices, custom prints, embedded diamonds, and designs to die for!

Casual attires aren’t lost in the breeze either; fall welcomes varieties quite boastfully if you know how to do it seductively.

Wrapping yourself in layers and still somehow coming across as someone sensual and intoxicating is an art!

How to master it?

Luckily, it is not always about flaunting a cleavage; sensuality is an intrinsic trait just as much as it’s extrinsic.

I can say, for a fact, that individuals with a romantic essence don’t feel cold as strongly as other body types!

They burn within; the fire is always too hot to handle, even in the cold autumn wind.

It’s not just about a deep cleavage or a sumptuously highlighted behind.

It’s in the way individuals with romantic body types exist— their sirene eyes fluttering their way into your existence, those blaring red lips enticing you in the trap, and their smile demanding you to commit sins you forget to keep untouched.

Your body type is fierce and not like the dramatics; it’s fierce because it’s confident, demanding, sensual, and unforgiving.

So, before you wear your romantic fall outfits, don’t forget to wear your essence; it plays a big role!

It’s not difficult to blend sensuality, opulency, and extravagance with the fall season; below is a complete style guide to help you select a fall wardrobe for your romantic body type.

Kibbe Romantic Body Type Accommodation

Before we get into the details, let’s have a closer look at all the physical attributes your body type accommodates!

Your height is short, but it doesn’t give away petite because you also accommodate a broad bone structure.

The body is fleshy and plum, and it’s visible throughout your entirety, whether limbs, waist, features, bust, or hips.

  • A voluptuous figure: You are soft, curvy, and fleshy. Start with choosing fabrics that add and accentuate your soft curves and fleshy body. Your fabric choices shouldn’t be stiff or organized with straight/sharp lines. They should melt with your figure.
  • Hourglass shape: A visible wrap around your bust, waist, and hips is a must. I often see romantic individuals choosing dresses that fall free from the waist without defining the hips; It’s a big NO! Those dresses are essentially kibbe non-romantic-coded instead of romantic.

Any other variation is more than welcome for your body type.

Kibbe Romantic Fall Outfits | A Complete Style Guide

Just like dramatics, choosing casual attire can soon become bothersome for your body type because you are essentially the embodiment of extravagance and indulgence.

Not to worry, we have a whole casual fall outfit wardrobe ready for you!

Let’s go from tip to toe!

Hourglass Accommodation

Whether you choose to go with a dress, a mini-dress, casual pants, skirts, or tops, emphasizing your hourglass figure will compliment your 8-shaped curvaceous figure in the best way possible.

So, choose a top that hugs your bosom delicately and defines your waist on the go.

It’s alright if you keep your waist bare, but ensure your bottom shapes your hips effortlessly. You can have flow and flare in your bottoms, but that should start below the hip and not the waist.

Because a romantic body type naturally comes with a broader waist, most women try to keep it hidden with high-waist bottoms.

It’s not at all necessary; you can absolutely slay a low waist bottom and flaunt that gorgeous broad waist and bare love handles; it’s part of your sensuality!

When choosing a bodycon top, don’t forget to emphasize your cleavage.

Maintaining the hourglass shape in the fall season can be a little tricky. We’ll discuss this ahead in the article.

Fabric choices

Velvet is the classic choice for romantics in the fall season. It’s thick enough to keep you warm but also soft enough to not lose softness from ki your silhouette.

Velvet is versatile because you can find every variation in that fabric— tops, bottoms, dresses, skirts, etc.

Wool is another great choice for bodycon dresses, draped shoulders, tops, and sometimes skirts. Not only does it keep you warm, but it easily blends with your silhouette without appearing stiff or structured.

Silk is a romantic fabric; it translates luxury, extravagance, and indulgences. It wraps and drapes around your body effortlessly. Matter of fact, silk is also a natural insulator.

So, while keeping you looking, Beau Monde the fabric also does a great job at keeping you warm.

Velour welcomes fall colors to your palette; it’s thinner than velvet but does a great job at keeping you looking up class and expensive!

Fur (Faux): Fur shawls and off-shoulder overcoats are made for the fall season, especially for the romantic body type— they are warm, affluent, luxurious, and soft. It’s not just overcoats and shawls where you can use fur; the fabric is a popular choice for off-shoulder necklines or hems.

Cashmere: Just like all the fabrics mentioned above, cashmere is a rich and warm choice for your tops, skirts, bottoms, overcoats, and dresses.

These aren’t the only fabric choices you have available for the fall season. You can simultaneously choose lighter and more exotic fabrics as long as you are pairing them with snuggly overcoats. We’ll discuss how to layer as a romantic ahead in the article.

So, anything including satin, georgette, chiffon, lace, crepe, and voile (Sleeves, necklines, draping, webbing) is more than welcome!

Fall patterns

Fabrics adorned with floral prints automatically increase your essence 10-fold. They portray romance and add gentle sensuality to your outfit choices.

Although it’s fall, floral prints somehow complement the season quite beautifully. You can choose patterns and prints with subdued fall colors and flowers.

On days you want to wear something luxurious yet formal, try silk brocade, chintz dresses, or damask fabric.

Chintz is one of my favorite patterns for a romantic fall wardrobe— it’s elegant, very autumn-coded, and posh.

Cheetah print, on the other hand, is for events when you want to portray and bask in extreme sensuality. Cheetah print has that kind of power!

The color behind your print also plays a crucial role. It should first match your season color palette. Next, it should complement the fall season.

Where can you use patterned fabrics? We already know that silk dresses look gorgeous when they have a sophisticated print on their ensemble, but patterned fabrics are also perfect for your tops, especially corsets that come with balloon sleeves and skirts.

You must choose these patterns wisely, though! Although going all out is your major personality trait, excessive patterns can easily take the light away from you and come across as a bad choice.

Fall colors for romantic body type.

Red is COMING BACK, and it’s taking the fashion trend by storm. Although I never indulge in suggesting what’s trending; this particular trend is worth trying because there’s not a better color than red when it comes to embracing your sensuality.

Of course, it should bode well with your seasonal color palette. Luckily every color palette has a gorgeous shade of red (Scarlett, maroon, crimson, carmine, etc.) to compliment your individual tones.

After red, we have the autumn palette, including shades, hues, and tints of mustard, green, amber, brown, carnelian, etc.

That’s not all; every subdued or pigmented color is all the more welcome. While white and black will forever remain epic, your body type embraces highly pigmented and rich colors, including dark brown, chocolate brown, fresh peach, violet, wine, etc.

So, don’t shy away from choosing highly pigmented colors instead of the white and beige variety. I cannot stress enough how gorgeous and supreme colors look on your body type.

Tops

Choosing the right tops for your romantic body type would help you attain a sensual but casual fall wardrobe.

There are three important aspects when choosing a top for your body type— neckline, sleeves, and hem.

Hem

Hem can be cropped or reach your hipline. However, when you choose a longer top, you would want to add a belt to provide waist definition to your attire.

This can be done using a corset (that starts below your sternum and covers your waist), ribbon belt, or back laces.

  • You can also tuck your long top inside a high-waisted pant to maintain the waist definition.
  • If left untucked, choose a soft and artistic hem design (frills) instead of a straight hem.
  • When choosing a crop top and low-waist bottoms (jeans/skirts), add lace details to your top that wrap around your waist.

Neckline:

Necklines are a crucial detail in your romantic wardrobe; they have the power to make or break your wardrobe. They zoom on one of the most important aspects of your body, i.e., your cleavage.

  • Off-shoulder surplice neckline.
  • Sweetheart neckline
  • Plunging neckline but with a halter back.
  • Cowl neck with spaghetti straps.
  • Queen Anne
  • Low sweetheart neckline (with added lace trim) and no straps.
  • Off shoulder.
  • Spaghetti straps with a stretched u-neckline.
  • Deep v-neck, but make sure the v-lines are curved instead of being straight.

These necklines are valid for your dress choices as well!

Sleeves

After necklines, sleeves are crucial to your outfit choices, too!

  • Bishop sleeves
  • Kimono sleeves
  • Off-shoulder puffed sleeves
  • Bell sleeves
  • Peasant sleeves
  • Witchy sleeves

Types of tops for this fall season:

  • Diamond studded and floral corset tops.
  • Front knot off-shoulder blouses
  • Mesh High necks work when you add diamonds.
  • Lacy bralette.

Bottoms

Wrapping and defining your waist with a big belt attached to the bottoms should be a start. If you are going low-waist, I strongly advise choosing a skirt over jeans or pants.

Low-waist pants wouldn’t be able to define your hourglass figure.

On the other hand, a low-waist skirt that wraps around your bottoms and thighs and flares your knees or below is more than welcome.

For casuals, high-waisted jeans that hug your waist, hips, and thighs softly are the first choices.

They can be flared, straight, or boot-cut as long as they define your hourglass figure.

I wouldn’t suggest shorts of any sort, but mini shorts with macrame skirts that showcase your upper thigh region are a seductive choice for beach casuals.

I would like to focus on asymmetrical mini skirts with long ruffled details (georgette/chiffon)  that brush your legs ever so softly!

They are perfect for you if you want to wear a miniskirt.

Mini skirts are good for your body type, but they are often boring and lack charm. Instead, choose a ¾ or floor-length skirt.

They are more sensual than an unimaginative mini skirt.

Any flare or ruffle detail works for your ¾ length as long as it curves and melts around your hips.

Romantic fall dresses

Dresses are your hallmark; they define you in the most beautiful and sensual way possible.

They also hug and tantalize your body beautifully. There has never existed a dress that couldn’t complement your body type. As long as they wrap your silhouette gently.

Literally, every dress is made for your body type, asymmetrical or not!

Follow the neckline, sleeves, colors, and pattern guidelines to choose a dress for yourself!

As for the length, any length works for your body type when it comes to dresses— mini, midi, maxi!

When choosing a mini dress, add long ruffled ribbons to its hems, which will add height to your broad figure.

Midi and maxi dresses can never go wrong for you, to begin with!

Adorn your dresses with mini flowers, bow, ruffled, rhinestone, and diamond details to welcome the fall season into your wardrobe.

The patterns and colors play a crucial role, too!

Layering your romantic body type in the fall season

Adding on layers to your fall outfit would hide and cover your figure and distort the overall silhouette.

Instead of adding multiple layers, choose fabrics for your outfits that are thicker and warmer.

When wearing a dress, nothing can better compliment your outfit than a Fur(faux) shawl. It’s warm, snuggly, soft, extremely rich, extravagant, and seductively vile.

For your casual outfits, a fur overcoat can be a great choice, but keep the buttons untucked so as not to hide your outfit inside.

Update your outfit with opera gloves, necklines made of fur, and thick stockings inside.

When wearing an overcoat with your outfits, keep them hung on your shoulders instead to make a strong statement.

Hairstyle and makeup

Your hairstyle and makeup largely depend on the event, but wavy open hair always works in your favor. So, if you don’t know what to do? Add shine and waves to your hair.

  • Side parted gelled waves on long hair.
  • Center-parted, sleek and high bun
  • Side parted, sleek low bun
  • Messy bun with curtain bangs.
  • Finger waves on short hair.

As for the makeup, go bold and sultry. Whether you wear casuals or extravagant dresses, red lips, and winged eyes never disappoint.

  • After winged liner, drunk eye makeup is a choice that will always accentuate your aura, teasing, sultry, and seductive
  • Go for darker shades of lipstick instead of nude colors. Your body type boasts in color, whether it’s outfits or makeup.

Accessories

“Diamonds are a girl’s best friend.”

In your case, diamonds never disappoint. So, let diamonds lead every aspect of your jewelry, whether chokers, earrings, body jewelry, bracelets, etc.

  • After diamonds, pearls are your second best friend.
  • Opera gloves
  • Stockings
  • Long hairpin
  • High heels.
